Why Ole Gunnar Solksjaer should get the permanent Manchester United role

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's audition to get the Manchester United job permanently is going tremendously and he's broken a plethora of records during his interim stint in the Old Trafford. In 15 games in charge, Solskjaer has guided United to 12 wins, two draws and one defeat - that coming against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League round of 16 first leg. The Norwegian boasts a win percentage of 80% and has more wins this season than the man he replaced, Jose Mourinho, achieved prior to his dismissal. 'The Special One' won just 10 out of 24 in all competitions this term.

What's more, Solskjaer has equalled the Premier League win record for a new boss and also holds the record for the biggest points tally a top-flight manager in their first opening ten games. Following his incredible work thus far, it now looks increasingly likely that club will reward Solskjaer's efforts with a permanent position after it was revealed that no other current manager or coach has been approached to discuss the position. Solskjaer is the only serious candidate for the full-time job. The 'Baby-faced Assassin' has moved ahead of Mauricio Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri in the pecking order; two individuals who, reportedly, have been yet to be approached about the position.
