Among Us: Innersloth reveals Airship Map, releasing in early 2021

Among Us: Airship Map

Innersloth is showing no signs of slowing down with Among Us. Having bagged 2 awards during The Game Awards 2020, they unveiled a new map dubbed Airship, which will release in 2021. This new Airship map in Among Us is the biggest one we know of so far. 

The Airship map will be the fourth map in Among Us, after The Skeld, Mira HQ, and Polus. This new map is a welcome sigh of relief for many of the streamers and gamers who are probably getting bored with the old maps. It looks like Innersloth, the developers of Among Us, have found the right way to get the interest of gamers back to their side. 

Despite launching in 2018, Among Us only topped the Steam charts this year. This multiplayer, Online Social deduction game has suddenly popped up during the global lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In 6 months, Among Us has become viral and has even won awards at The Game Awards.

Although we do not as of yet have an official release date for Airship, the developers have announced that it will be available in early 2021. 

The Airship map is far more complex and elaborate than the previous ones. It is also considerably larger, so it is understandable if the tasks are equally or more daunting. 

One more aspect of this Airship map is that there will be ladders and elevators that the players will be able to use to accomplish their missions. 

The most interesting addition is that, following an emergency meeting, you can start off in different rooms. This reduces the chance of crewmates getting picked off by a gang of imposters. 

This fourth map and its slew of features are something Among Us players will be really looking forward to. Apart from these new features, we could also be looking at some other improvements. 

Maybe Innersloth isn't ready to reveal details just yet, but the excitement will surely be high within the Among Us community.
