This Sunday will be full of action as the foxes, Leicester City host Mikel Arteta and Arsenal at the King Power Stadium. As things stand, Leicester City are level on points with the second-placed Manchester United, while Arsenal are on the other end of a 15-point bridge between the two.

The Gunners are seven points off the European spot and that seems to be Arteta's team's pre-requisite in order to end this season on a high and strategize better for the next one.

When we compare the H2H stats of Leicester City and Arsenal, the Gunners lead despite being poor in the recent meetings, are ahead with seven wins, and four losses, while three were drawn. The last five meetings though have seen Leicester winning three of them, losing just one, while the other one was a draw.

1) Arsenal 0-1 Leicester City H2H (26 Oct 2020)

The game was equally spread and both the teams were doing well in the reverse fixture between them. Arsenal, being the hosts, had more possession and attempts on the goal but they were not clinical enough to make a mark on the scoreline.

Something that Jamie Vardy managed, despite not starting and coming on after the hour mark. However, not to forget, it was the Foxes' summer signing Cengiz Under who was unselfish at the moment and set up a brilliant header for Vardy, just after five minutes of introduction into the game.

Arsenal toiled hard but they weren't able to recuperate with it and thereby, lost all three points at home.

2) Leicester City 0-2 Arsenal H2H (24 Sept 2020)

This meeting was an EFL Cup clash between the two sides and it was not the day Brendan Rodgers would want to remember. A 57th-minute own goal, followed by Edward Nketiah's 90th-minute goal sealed the game for the Gunners, while the Foxes were knocked out of the cup in round 3.

3) Arsenal 1-1 Leicester City H2H (8 Jul 2020)

A Hero in one match, a villain in the other. Edward Nketiah had a bizarre night despite the points being shared at the Emirates. Arsenal started off well with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opening his account on the day in the 21st minute after Bukayo Saka set him up beautifully.

The game was dominated by Arteta's men and they were pretty much in control of the game. This led to the Arsenal boss going to his bench to send some fresh faces onto the pitch. Edward Nketiah replaced Alexandre Lacazette, while Joseph Willock came in for Saka.

Just two minutes after stepping on the field, Nketiah was involved in a heedless tackle on James Justin for which he was booked. However, VAR intervened and the card was changed to red, enhancing the problems for the Gunners and creating more room for the Foxes.

Playing with 10 men, Arsenal couldn't take control of the game anymore, and Jamie Vardy made the most of it, firing the equalizer and earning a point for his side.

4) Leicester City 2-0 Arsenal H2H (9 Nov 2019)

After a goalless first half, Leicester City tried to play out more openly, and the Foxes' unswerving attempts led to Jamie Vardy firing against his favorite opponents via Youri Tielemans. 

Jamie Vardy was up for it as he was also involved in the next goal as he set it up in staggering fashion for James Maddison, and Leicester City took the three points home with a cleansheet.

5) Leicester City 3-0 Arsenal H2H (28 April 2019)

The luck was not in Arsenal's favor again as this turned out to be another meeting where Arsenal went a man down pretty early in the game. Ainsley Maitland-Niles was booked first in the eighth minute, and then a poor tackle on James Maddison after a heavy touch saw him leave the pitch.

Rodgers feeling the heat of the game, cleverly pulled out Wilfred Ndidi from the game as he was booked too, and Harvey Barnes came on as a substitute.

Just before the hour mark, Tielemans fired a spectacular goal set up by James Maddison as Leicester went ahead. 

With limited options on the front, and being with just ten men on the pitch, Arsenal were incompetent of making any impact and were consequently punished by two Jamie Vardy goals in the 86th minute and in the 95th-minute respectively.

We cannot guarantee any red cards this time but what we can be hopeful of is a tight game with both teams who have been in great form over the recent weeks.
