Fourth seed Daniil Medvedev takes on Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena in the second round.
Medvedev defeated Vasek Pospisil 6-2 6-2 6-4 in the first round. The Russian smashed 8 aces and won 78% of his first-serve points.
On the other hand, Baena won his opener in 4 sets against Attila Balazs. The Spaniard hit 8 aces and clinched 81% of his first-serve points.
This is the first meeting between both the players.

This is the first meeting between Svitolina and Gauff on the WTA Tour.
