Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel are two of the most decorated managers in Europe. Their tactics are a testament to these statements, who possess a brilliant quality as a manager. Both will face each other once again, and who will return home with three points? Let’s have a look. 

Similar Formation - Different Style of Play
Both the managers set their respective sides up in a 3-5-2 formation but play two different styles of football. Conte expects his players to be comfortable on the ball, forcing opponents to be in unnatural positions. 

This will invite Tuchel’s men to press relentlessly until they get the ball back; Chelsea will try to break up Tottenham’s gameplay by pressing high up the pitch. This is where Conte wants his players to soak up the pressure and hit their opposition with a lethal counter-attack.

Once they start pressing invertedly, the space will open from the center. Chelsea’s midfielder Jorginho and Kante will nullify Spurs’ midfield leading to more spaces for Chelsea. 

Their way through Tottenham’s box will become more accessible, with Lukaku physically strong and Mount creativity will help Chelsea score goals. 

Antonio Conte will have to be tactically correct to breach to Tuchel’s tactics. The Italian manager prefers his teams to soak up the pressure and don’t get stressed to counter their mistakes. 

But Chelsea’s pressing is so high that Conte’s players will only get limited possession to make the most out of it. Only a few teams can match Chelsea’s intensity.
