Call of Duty: Developers reveal Warzone's Cold War Season One gameplay with a new map
We have finally got a gimpse at the latest gameplay video from the developers of Call of Duty Warzone Cold War Season 1, and it looks explosive
With the combination of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, players will also have access to a much larger inventory of weapons and perks to choose from.
Call of Duty Warzone season one will release on December 16 (11 p.m. Pacific time on December 15). The change of map is a welcome sigh of relief to players who are bored of the same old map and are eager for something new.
The trailer is also full of weapons, cars, helicopters and even boats, all of them being used to fight against opponents.
The announcement was revealed at the Game Awards, and in the trailer we see Vikhor “Stitch” Kuzmin, going after CIA agent Russell Adler, the main character of Cold War’s single-player campaign.
One thing we already knew was that we are getting a reworked Rebirth Island for Season one of COD Warzone Cold War, and the trailer has also confirmed it. The video in the trailer is set to the audio track "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath, setting the mood for a gruesome, action packed trailer, which it pans out to be.
Rebirth Island is a secret Soviet base, part prison, part chemical bioweapons manufacturing and testing facility.
The CIA raided and shut it down on 1968. One of the most interesting features of the newly worked Rebirth Island is the gulag, where players who have died once can fight a duel to get back into the game. This new 1v1 experience is centered around a prison chamber.
One of the most simple observations is that Rebirth Island will be smaller than Verdansk, the previous Warzone Map. This means one of two things, lesser players or more chaos.
