Brentford has come to the top tier of English Football for the first time in its 70-year-old history and the debut has been one to remember for. Brentford knocked off Arsenal by two goals to nil and amazingly kept a clean sheet to kick start its campaign.
With Arsenal dominating the ball possession at 75%, they were not able to break the gritty defense of the newly-promoted side. Where does the Arsenal go on from here? Will Brentford manage to keep up the momentum will be worth seeing

EPL Gameweek 1 Review: Man United 5-1 Leeds
The fixture was supposed to be tight with the game swinging both ways, but Manchester United had some other plans.
Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes made a mockery of the Leeds United defense and Bruno Fernandes had his hattrick of goals and Pogba provided 4 assists to cap off a rout of much lowly Leeds United.
With Raphael Varane being unveiled at Old Trafford, Man Utd's defense would be much stronger and could pose a nightmare to the future opponents

The FA Community shield winners Leicester City were coming in the Gameweek 1 with much-required momentum. Wolves with a managerial change had an opportunity to get its 1st away win of the season.
Jamie Vardy just proved his worth for the former PL Champions and scored the match's lone goal. Despite 17 attempts by the Wolves squad, they were unable to break the deadlock.
One good news for the Wolves was the return of Raul Jimenez after suffering a horrific injury the last season, the Wolves would pass on this loss and move ahead to the next game week

A cakewalk for the European Champions. Palace had no answer to the attack, mid, and the defense of Chelsea. With goals from Christan Pulisic, a classic free-kick from Marcus Alonso and a debut goal by Trevoh Chalobah sealed a much-deserved win for the Blues.

EPL Gameweek 1 Review: Watford 3-2 Aston Villa
The newly-promoted Watford had a game to remember. They kicked off with a victory of a much dominated Aston Villa. With Jack Grealish moving to Manchester City, there was a huge void left by his absence.
However most of the game was controlled by Aston Villa, but with two first-half goals and a third goal in the 67th minute of the game, Watford had a 3 - 0 advantage. But Aston Villa fought back hard to equalize but felt short of the mark by a goal.

EPL Gameweek 1 Review: Everton 3-1 Southampton
It was a Richalison show in the match. Rafa Benitez takes charge of the Everton squad for the first time in the Premier League. The entire 1st half was well dominated, where Southampton found the net in the 22nd minute via Adam Armstrong's kick.
There was a different tale in the 2nd half where the ball was just being with the Everton Squad and scored 3 goals in the 2nd half to cap off a well-deserved start of the campaign to the Benitez squad.

EPL Gameweek 1 Review: Newcastle United 2-4 West Ham United
Probably the Game of the Week for the Premier League Game Week 1. Newcastle started the match in an expected way where they had a 2 -1 lead before heading in the half-time.
However, it seemed like the West Ham strikers went on a Zen mode and routed a comeback into the game. The spacing in defense by Newcastle was horrible, the tracking back defensively from the midfield was non-existent at times.
Four Different players scored for West Ham which would eventually give them a much-required momentum heading into the season.

The Defending Premier League Champions faced off against a Harry Kane absent Tottenham Hotspur. Despited of a much spirited and a positive 1st half, City was not able to open the scoring, however, it was a different ball game in the 2nd half.
Son Heung-Min scored the only goal of the game which gave Tottenham an unexpected win over Manchester City.
It was a much disappointing performance by Pep boys and shall look on to bounce back in the upcoming games
