Kyrgios takes a swipe at Tsitsipas' extended bathroom breaks during the US Open
The Aussie tennis star is known for his big-mouth and he did not hesitate in letting his feelings flow regarding the incidents that took place in the match between Andy Murray and Stefanos Tsitsipas at the US Open 2021 during a press conference before his game against Roberto Bautista Agut.
“My job is to come out here and play for the people, not walk back and forth between towels,” the Australian unleashed at the umpire.
“It’s not part of the game. So texting someone’s part of the game too? Taking 20-minute bathroom breaks is part of the game?
“I need to take a s**t, part of the game.”
The antics from Kyrgios did not help his cause, as his loss to Roberto Bautista Agut culminated in a bagel third set which took under 30 minutes to complete.
Kyrgios vs Tsitsipas: Head to Head Prediction
Considering the amount of tennis both players have played in 2021, it would be no surprise if Tsitsipas gets his first win over Kyrgios today at the Laver Cup, as we feel, Tsitsipas would be much sharper compared to the Kyrgios, as the greek has played much more tennis than Kyrgios in 2021.
The Aussie is not in the best form of his career, and he would struggle against powerful forehand of the greek.
Prediction: Stefanos Tsitsipas to win the match in three sets against Nick Kyrgios.
