Luka Doncic leads Slovenia to its first ever Olympics participation in Men's Basketball

Luka Doncic has been one of the biggest stars in the NBA for the past few years and now he will be representing his home country, Slovenia, at the Tokyo Olympics.

Doncic is doing something we have not seen before. Pulling up from anywhere like Steph Curry while dropping Triple Doubles now and then. The Slovenian will, without a doubt, be the biggest factor in the Slovenia National Basketball Team in the Olympics Tokyo 2021. 

The Dallas Mavericks star has already made history for his home country as he leads Slovenia into its first-ever Olympics in Tokyo.

For the final qualifier, Luka Doncic dropped a historical 31 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds. If Luka continues to play the way he does, he will be going down as one of the basketball greats. 

With the presence of Doncic in the team, Slovenia has now become a real threat to any men’s basketball team participating in the Tokyo Olympics 2021. They are now real contenders in the tournament and are likely to stand on the podium. 

With an average of 21.3 points, 11.3 assists, and 8 rebounds, Luka Doncic put up a mind-blowing performance while putting all the other contenders on notice. Doncic’s average efficiency was calculated to be around 31.5. 

The Slovenian International makes passes that potentially decide the game, he pulls up for behind the arc anytime he wants and manages to drain most of his shots, his midrange game, and finishing at the rim is elite as well. Luka Doncic is a complete offensive package in the game of basketball. 

Slovenia will now be facing Spain, Japan, and Argentina in the Group C of Men’s Basketball at the Tokyo Olympics and Luka Doncic will be looking forward to winning all three games.
