Grant Williams Joins Dallas Mavericks, Celtics Bid Farewell
NBA : Grant Williams goes to Dallas Mavericks, Leaving Boston Celtics behind
Grant Williams will reportedly sign a four-year $54 million deal before being dealt to the Mavs, Dallas Mavericks will send swingman Reggie Bullock and a 2030 pick swap to the San Antonio Spurs.
The Boston Celtics will receive a 2024 and 2028 second-round pick from the Dallas Mavericks and a 2025 second-round pick swap.

Celtics Boston Receives:
- 2024 second-round pick (via Mavs)
- 2025 second-round pick (via Mavs)
- 2028 second-round pick (vis Mavs)
San Antonio Spurs Receives:
- Reggie Bullock (via Mavs)
- Unprotected 2030 first-round pick swap (via Mavs)
Williams who is 24 years old has played his entire four-season NBA Career with the Celtics since they had selected him with the No 22 pick of the 2019 draft. A 6-foot-6 forward who played primarily off the bench. Williams averaged 8.1 points 4.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 45.4% from the floor and 39.5 % on 3.7 3-point attempts per game last season.
Williams will join a Mavericks team that’s extended guard Kyrie Irving and acquired center Richaun Holmes this off-season in addition to drafting Duke center Dereck Lively II and Marquette forward Olivier- Maxence Prosper.
