PSG have had kind of a rocky start to their season, even though they are undefeated so far, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows for the French club. Man City has also had a few rough patches here and there but none in the Champions League. 

Lionel Messi has had a slow start as he is yet to be involved in any goal for PSG, even though he’s looked like a threat throughout. 

Messi’s return for the Man City fixture is still in doubt but he has rested the last game in hopes of a full recovery by the UCL fixture. 

Jack Grealish has had quite a season so far for Man City, not the most involved in scoring and assisting but still involved in 4 goals in the last 8 games for his new club. 

In the first week of the UCL group stage, PSG had a disappointing start as they managed to get just one point against Club Brugge in the opening gameweek. Whereas Man City looked like a force not to be messed with as they put six past RB Leipzig.

PSG vs Man City: Head to Head Prediction 

PSG needs to win this game to prove that they are still a threat in Europe this season. They might have had a rocky start to the season but they have had time to adjust and improve chemistry. Mauricio Pochettino is yet to make an impressive statement with the French team. 

Pep Guardiola’s Man City has looked good this season but they’ve shown weaknesses as well. Conceding three against RB Leipzig wasn’t the best of signs even though they managed to score 6. 

If Lionel Messi and Marco Verratti make a return against Man City, as they are expected to, Man City defense would have to be at their very best to stop the PSG duo. 

We believe that even though PSG boast a star-studded lineup, they are yet to play their best football and it will take time for them to play at their full potential. 

If Pochettino manages to find a solution to the unanswered problems so far for the French side then we might be looking at the winner but so far Man City has looked way better as a team.
