Besides this, the 33-year-old, Lewandowski ended the first half of the new season with 19 goals in 17 Bundesliga games and started the new year with a bang completing his 20 goals after scoring a hattrick in his first appearance of 2022. 

This might be a dip in form for him compared to the outrageous 22 goals he netted in 17 games in 2020/21. The Poland striker has been an absolute beast in front of goals.  

While his Champions League stats for 2021/22 is nine goals in six outings, one behind Ajax striker Sebastian Haller. 

Mohamed Salah has found the back of the net 16 times in the Premier League in 20 league games, and in the Champions League, he chalked up seven goals in six matches.
