Othmane Maamma, born on October 6, 2005, in France, is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Watford. Although born in France, he represents Morocco at youth international level.

After developing at Nîmes Gazelec Sportif Gardois (2011–2015) and Athlétic Club Arlésien (2015–2016), he joined Montpellier’s youth academy in 2016.

He broke into Montpellier’s first team in 2024, making 14 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice and providing one assist.

This past summer, Watford signed him for €1.3 million. Although he has yet to make his Championship debut, his performances at the U20 World Cup have turned heads — with four assists and a goal in just five matches.

According to Transfermarkt, his current market value stands at €1.3 million, but that figure is expected to rise significantly thanks to his standout performances on the international stage.

International career

In March 2024, Maamma was called up to the Morocco U-20 national team for two friendly matches against the United States and England U-19 teams. He featured in the match against England.
