The 2022 January transfer window has passed the deadline day as Sportco brings you all the major signings confirmed from across Europe.
The January transfer window saw some expected moves and some shocks as clubs across Europe started splurging money on top players to reinforce their squad.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ended his nightmare at Arsenal as the Gabonese International secured a free transfer to Spanish giants, Barcelona, on deadline day.
Premier League top clubs have secured their preferred signings. Liverpool will be adding more firepower upfront as they secured the signing of Luis Diaz from FC Porto earlier this week.
While Everton’s quest for a new manager finally came to an end after they completed the signing of Frank Lampard and along with him, they landed Donny van dee Beek on loan from Manchester United and Dele Ali from Tottenham.
Their rivals Aston Villa also did some great business, as they bought Philippe Coutinho and Lucas Digne. These were their two massive signing of January month for Aston Villa.
While apart from Premier League, La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have also secured some of the best signings.
The Catalans have managed to land Ferran Torres from Man City and Adama Traore from Wolverhampton Wanderers; on the other hand, their rivals Real Madrid claimed the deal of Kylian Mbappe, who will join the club next summer on a free transfer.
However, hands down to Juventus, who acquired one of the best signings of the January transfer window. The Old Lady signed one of the most sought strikers of Europe, Dusan Vlahovic from Florentina.
Although in this transfer window, we witnessed Premier League clubs were the busiest clubs on the transfer window because of their financial implication compared to other league clubs.
